Event Marketing: Learning the Language of Your Tribe

Here’s a quick tip if you are new to marketing your own events. Take a look at the Twitter feed of similar events, and watch for Tweets from attendees when they express what they got out of it; what they wished they had learned; what was missing; what speakers they wished they had seen; what they liked best; and the conference highlights. Use that language to shape your event and write the copy so it speaks directly to your potential audience. Your marketing will be clear, personal and effective.
