GE Sheds Business Units
GE is shedding several business units and pushing decision-making away from the center to where the action is. CEO John Flannery said, “Don’t give me a binder of information. Give me a one-page report.”
Hear, hear. I remember sitting in laborious, tedious quarterly review meetings that took an entire day. Yikes.
I would duck out for an hour or two to get actual work done lol.
